Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for projects with Trebots ("we", "us", "our"). Because we provide custom, made-to-order work, the following terms apply.
1. Free consultation
Our initial consultation and project estimates are free and carry no obligation. You only commit once you approve a written quote and the project begins.
2. Advance and deposit payments
Custom development requires us to reserve time and begin work upfront. Any advance or deposit payment is therefore non-refundable once work has started, as it covers the time and resources already committed to your project.
3. Milestone payments
For larger projects billed in milestones, payments for any completed or in-progress milestone are non-refundable. You only pay for the next milestone before it begins.
4. Cancellation by you
You may cancel a project at any time by writing to us. You will be charged for all work completed up to the cancellation date, and any remaining balance for that work becomes due. Amounts already paid for completed work are non-refundable.
5. Cancellation by us
In the rare event that we are unable to continue a project, we will refund any payment made for work that has not yet been started or delivered.
6. After delivery
Once a project (or milestone) has been delivered and approved, it is considered complete and is non-refundable. Reasonable revisions within the agreed scope are included; work beyond the agreed scope is quoted separately.
7. Goodwill refunds
Any refund beyond the above is entirely at our discretion and offered only as a goodwill gesture, where appropriate.
